Golden State deserves this.
They were so bad for so many years...
Not a basket ball fan but this is like a baseball team winning 140 games
Got to see him play live when he was at Davidson in the SOCON tourney here vs College of Charleston. He was awesome then.
Check this out in a mostly unrelated story.
Wins only mean something correlated to the level of skill of the teams beaten. It would take a boatload of stats to determine something along the lines of parity with teams of different eras. I am not declaring my Bulls of yore a superior team, but I am not willing to give comparable accolades to Golden State.
and yet the story tonite & tomorrow will be that Kobe Bryant scored 60 points to lead his Lakers to a win in his final game.
The Bulls played in an era where it was in the rules for the players to be much more physical. I wonder how this Warriors team would fare if their noses were bloodied.
People are starting to forget what the Jordan Factor was all about. He was the most driven and talented player I have ever seen in any sport. Without exception.
Utah Game 5 says it all.
The sad part is the coach who got them here is no longer part of it.
Wasn’t he a baseball player before he tried basketball?
HOORAY Curry
HOORAY Green
HOORAY Warriors
HOORAY Kobe
I remember the baseball experiment with the Birmingham Barons in 1994-1995 after his dad was murdered. Michael said at the time that baseball had been the first sport he really loved. But I don't think he actually played affiliated baseball in his youth.
He was a once in a lifetime basketball player with a singular will to compete and win. It was a joy to follow his career. But I don't live in Cleveland or New York. Or Indiana. Or LA . Or Portland. Or Phoenix. Or Portland. Or Utah.
Or Detroit. Thank God.
All that being said, congratulations to Golden State.
..and, Paul Ryan is a douche.
c’mon Oxford.
Curry was on fire - 46 pts in two quarters.
Great win, superb record - both well deserved by a classy and talented bunch of guys.
I’ve really enjoyed watching them play all season, and the best may be yet to come.
Or you can flip the script. How would
the Bulls do if they had ;*to play a more
finesse game and which Bull would join
Pippin to neutralize Warrior 3pt
production?
Good for the Warriors. They play some mighty fine ball
You play in the era you play in. The Bulls were a terrific team to watch as well.
73 wins in a season will stand for at least as long
True words
