No. I'm a realist. Despite all of the tough talk and wishful thinking we all know that neither Cruz or Trump was going to blow up the RNC. Everybody bows down and kisses the ring.
Trump supporters are in search of utopia. And they won't find it. Suppose Trump gets the nomination and becomes the 'standard bearer' of the party. What do you think is going to happen? You think there's going to be some throwback to the Saturday Night Massacre and all of those 'establishment elites' will be thrown out in favor of young Turks?
I don't think so. Trump will be consumed by the GOP establishment, smile and take their money. If his campaign is any indication he will be even more beholden to them than Cruz ever would be. The only difference is they went to Cruz first. Trump will not be funding a multi hundred million dollar general election campaign on his own.
