I do. We are doing this to defeat Hillary and not LOSE who we are as a people.

Until that is set in stone, which it HARDLY is, I say the guy whom I’ve supported since the day he announced (before really... well hoped at least...) needs to stay in.

It really is that simple. I know Cruz is the right guy for the job. He would kick Hillary’s ass in a debate, and really would offer an exciting, different candidate from any of the trash the Dems put up. I can TRUST what he says. He means what he says. He stands up for what he believes. He believes what I believe.

With Trump, its a shot in the dark. It will be a lesser of two evils vote in November for me if Trump is the nominee. I have NO clue what he will do. He may be the best President we have ever had and I will eat crow every single day for doubting him.

But WHY? Why should I risk something SO important when I have someone so awesome right there.
Sure I would have loved a flat out victory by Cruz. Its likely not going to happen for him, for anyone. That’s what happens when the GOPe runs 17 freaking candidates in an effort to dillute the conservative vote so their made to order pathway for Jeb is clear sailing.

Two things happened which stopped it.
1. The electorate is freaking pissed. Anyone attached to the GOPe was toxic. It pushed a majority of voters to the two outsiders, Cruz and Trump.
2. Trump’s popularity was right at the magic 35%-40% Jeb needed to hit, he took the elections Jeb was supposed to.

It gave Trump a huge surge in the early primaries, primarily due to the crowded field.

Since it has narrowed to 3, he is getting his rear handed to him. Its not even close. This is a telltale sign the electorate does not want him.

Had Rubio dropped out 2 weeks earlier, this really would likely be about over by this point. We’d be wrapping this up in NY and not CA with a Cruz victory. Cruz won’t take NY of course, but he’s going to take a portion of the state.

Remember, its a closed primary which is split by districts, similar to the Texas primary. Voter registration ended in October.

Anyway, we will defeat Hillary.
The GOPe is sunk. They have lost. They are in batten down the hatches mode at this point.
Now we need to pick the best leader for our party, and this country.

In my opinion, that’s Ted Cruz.

It does not matter what we think, I think we have been asked to tone down our advocacy for Cruz.

That is the best thing to come out of all this mess- the GOPe is running scared- they are fearful of midterm elections now after the boener, then ryan betrayal, plus caving into dear leader for all these years- not standing up against illegal executive orders and treaties that weren’t actual treaties- etc

The party isn’t done for, but it will be reshaped hopefully- we’re almost- almost at a point where the peopel are so fed up they simply want ot clean house- open the windows, air the place out, and start fresh again- An American Spring cleaning so to say

This has been a wild ride for sure-

Ted Cruz’s only path to victory involves his very public and frequently gloated about deligate thieft from other canidates. Thanks to Cruz’s unsightly public behavior there’s very little chance Trump supporters would back him after a steal at the convention. If he’d done it quietly it wouldn’t have been an issue, but Cruz is such an attention seeking idiot and he’s doomed any chance of a Cruz victory in November.

If he had any poltical sense he’d drop out now and endorse Trump to heal the rift in the party.

Cruz is only getting delegates because of unethical manipulations.

They may be legal, but they are not honest. Especially for the most conservative, most Christian candidate ever.
