During my years on the Chicago PD we had plenty of opportunities to chase some 19-20 year old kid 10 blocks.
When we bring him in, we ask, “so do you work?”
“No I’m on SSI Disability”.
When we bring him in, we ask, so do you work?
No Im on SSI Disability.
Same type of experience here. We know people who are “permanently disabled” because they are too fat, drink too much, are drug addicts, just act crazy, or have a history of depression or stress related problems. If the right doctor will say you are “permanently disabled” that's it you win the big prize.
