Well the summary I got from Duchess47 indicated that reading it was a complete waste of time. Perhaps her summation was in error or incomplete?

Duchess47 summary was accurate and to the point. But, I especially liked the part about Cruz’s father’s adventures being a bigamist. The section on the elder Rafael’s Cuban childhood seems to be quite an elaborate fairly tale. The acorn falling not so far from the tree seems applicable.
