I believe you would now find it difficult to find a good tie manufacturer in the USA. It wouldn’t be economically viable. Good luck finding a USA glove manufacturer too.

And I believe any tie that says “Made in the USA” would be mostly foreign content. They would buy the fabric overseas and put a few stitches in it here. I know how that game works.

I deal with several American manufacturers on an ongoing basis. The content of so many products is mostly overseas but so often the company will do some menial work in the USA just to put “Made in USA” on it.

The textile business in the USA is dead. 100s of thousands of American jobs were lost to NAFTA and GAAT.

Trump is a businessman. He knows it wouldn’t be economically feasible to manufacturer ties in the USA because of the trade deals Washington DC has made for us.
