I did not vote for Trump in the Primary, but if they deny the nominee that the people selected, the next president will be Sanders or Clinton, guaranteed. How can the GOP douchebags not see this?
Well the issue is Trump didn’t have a majority plain and simple. But the reason they don’t care is because they want power in congress. If Trump wins they lose congress if not this year then next election. That means less need for their cronies in DC and the rats will get more cronies in DC. Trump brings his own new cronies for the White House so they lose out there. Think about it like this...you own a business that you feed your family with quite nicely and have a great life. Someone wants to run you out of business...do you let them? Or do you fight even if it means you will make less money for the next couple years? I’m just explaining their reasoning not saying I support them.
And Cruz is trying to run the gauntlet. He’s needs Trump to stay active so that the GOPe want to stop Trump more than Cruz. Pretty shrewd and smart move and about the only way we can get a real conservative thinker in the white house to undo Obama’s damage.
