If the leaders of the Republican establishment really want to elbow Donald Trump aside, they would rerun Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
This time, though, Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan would be on top of the ticket and Romney would be his running mate, and not the other way around, as it was in 2012.
Of course, the Romney/Ryan ticket was defeated by Democrat President Obama and Joe Biden. But both Obama and Biden are out of the picture in the 2016 election, so the coast is clea

Wealth? Comfort? What universe do you live in? Gov and most people are in debt up to their eyeballs and beyond, the only reason there aren’t skinny starving people is becaues so many are on some form of gov bennies.
Crash and burn is on its way, no matter what. I just hope they don’t steal the nomination from Trump, at least with him in the WH while hell breaks loose, there’s a chance of bringing back the republic. Other than that, bad bad road ahead with no light at the end of the tunnel.
I’m a major Trump fan, but still. There’s enough wealth in this country to keep things from falling apart. Eventually most jobs will be gone. Period. There will need to be a military style draft/education system for most that do their 18 years of education +4 + 4 work and that’s it. Just to keep the automation running.
It might be another 20-30 years away, but that kind of system will have to be in place or else you’ll have the robot runners and the pleebs of masses.
