So Trumpers are not federalists, they think all power belongs to the Big Central Government...and they call Cruz people Stalinists or “Gestapo.”
States have no rights, may as well trash the 10th Amendment. How dare the state of Colorado decide on their own how to choose delegates—they should ask totalitarian Trump for permission first.
What a fascist bunch Trump and his myrmidons are.

Colorado can do what it wants. However, people don’t have to like it. And I’m willing to bet that the good citizens of Colorado who didn’t get to vote are just tickled pink. So, Cruzers are happy with any suppression of votes as long as it helps their boy, they ends justify the means. But, I understand, what is your boy polling in NY? 17%? This is the only way he can win. That’s Lyin’ Ted for you.

Well, it is worse than you think. It was not the state that changed the rules of delegate selection. It was a private association of free people, known as the Colorado Republican Party, that changed their own rules. Their right to assemble and engage in political speech and actions is a pre-existing natural right that is protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution for all time. If there was no First Amendment, the right would still exist.

The changes were done with proper notice, and opportunity to be heard and a fair decision by those entrusted to make such decisions by the bylaws of the party. It is as American as apply pie. It is the way all delegates used to be selected before the primary craze started. It is really no different than the Iowa Caucuses. And nobody complained about Iowa.

This uproar is just sore loser BS.

The state of CO and the voters didn’t define the process, the party elites did it in August then told people the news.

I’m sure you would be happy to DENY EVERYONE A VOTE in all 50 States right? The suspension of our elections right?

You would love the party just appoint people just like Communist China right????

After all that’s what happens in Free Republics!!!

Did you forget “of the people, by the people and for the people”?

You Cruzbots cannot see more than one step ahead. Good grief!

Did the people of the state decide to scrap the caucus, or did the party leadership? What is the use of being in a party were you have no say? What if nobody who names themselves a republican showed up for the general election? We would LOSE.
You know it’s funny, they say our votes do not count, but when a general election comes around...boy they sure want it then!
Do you remember how the republican party sneered at us for 8 years because Obama got elected telling us....”elections matter”? Well it seems to me the only way our vote matters is when they are trying to legitimize the candidate THEY WANT..Don’t worry, they don’t want either of our candidates. I never thought I would see the day when someone would joke about murdering someone on the senate floor. We have sick leaders.
