I think Rush could have done a better job than Palin at withstanding the ridicule, but the relentless attacks would eventually wear him down. He could not still be standing the way Trump is.
He sure folded like a wet noodle after he called Fluke a ‘tart’.
Rush has got more skeletons in the closet than you may realize. And on his radio show he can control the discussion so looks better at debate than he really is. This isn’t the case when you are dealing with the press, especially a hostile one.
Trump has managed to find a way to fight back which is unusual.
