Trump has to get 1237 delegates. If he doesn’t he will not get the nomination. That are the rules, like it or not. Getting close to it does not do it.

If Trump gets the closest to 1237, he ought to get the highest priority as far as subsequent rounds.

But you're acting like not only is it a given, but right and proper that if he falls just short, the nomination must, and naturally "ought*, to go to someone else.

I've been around here for many years and I can't recall people bitching about wanting someone else’s money. Not in the past - not now either.

Here's what we think Rush - we think conservative ‘elites’ have abandoned the dignity that goes with the rank.
