... In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, the National Border Patrol Council wrote:
"In our March 30th endorsement statement of Donald J. Trump, we, the National Border Patrol Council called upon the American people to stand with border agents in support of Mr. Trump and his pledge to end illegal immigration. We fully expected that the will of the American electorate, whatever they decided in this primary, would be upheld. It is now clear that voters are being disenfranchised in order to protect established interests.
By cancelling the election in Colorado, the Republican Party has found a brand new way to disenfranchise voters who want secure borders and safe communities. Once again, the will of the public who have pleaded for immigration enforcement is being overridden by special interests with agendas. We see the same thing happening across the country, where delegates won by Mr. Trump through a popular recorded vote have made secret arrangements to support other candidates, thwarting the will of the millions of voters they collectively are supposed to represent. This is insidious."

Funny you should mention Rush —I stopped everything I was doing when he said that, just came to a screeching halt.
I very rarely or almost never disagree with Rush on something so utterly important, and I’m still very concerned.
His words were something like, “Well, wouldn’t you want as Prez someone like that [like Cuz], ABLE to WORK THE SYSTEM..? [by getting all the delegates]
I couldn’t disagree more. Transparency is being bandied around more than ever, but never before have things been so opaque, so completely resolved in clouds of smoke behind heavy DC doors.
It’s EXACTLY the kind of guy I don’t want, and it’s too bad cuz until Colorado I was perched atop a razorblad atop Mt. Everest, with Cruz on one side, and Trump on the other.
I’d have voted for either happily, but something very fundamental has gone on, and now I favor Trump.
And...I’m very shaken up about Rush.
Not only dies the Border Patrol demand “Fair, free and open elections”, WE THE PEOPLE do as well.
Sorry, it is “does”, not “dies” My bad.
Sorry, it is “does”, not “dies” My bad.
Yes we do.
Yes, Rush is apparently longing for the days of the smoke filled rooms where party insiders made deals and chose nominees for their parties. There is nothing wrong with that being the process, since a party is a private organization, but in this day and age, a party that wants to win needs to have a system for picking a candidate that the voters will support, not that its insiders support. The GOPe doesn’t want to win in this race, if the alternative is winning with Trump. That’s losing to them, because they lose their jobs and their trillion dollar trade deals.
It’s called MUDDY THE WATERS. It’s when it’s too much effort to figure out if Trump failed when no law or rule was broke.
Reminds me of something I heard about ROBBING BANKS:
The most dangerous time isn't when you have the gauge out, and your heart is racing, and you're spinning the wheel for the cash as the cops might be coming.
It's when you're WHACKING UP THE CASH (for the gang members).
Go figure..i think the Colorado GOP is smoking too much pot.
That is a good analogy.
Trump knew what the rules were. Many states have the same rules. They caucus to decide who the delegates will be. Trump has only 35% of the vote nationwide but has over 45% of the delegates nationwide. Why didn’t Trump complain when the rules were sent to him. He didn’t care, because he thought he was going to win everything. He even signed the statement approving with the rules. Every time he loses he whines about something and says he should have won. He never campaigned in Colorado. He was too busy telling the East how good he was and chanting “lyin’ Ted. As if he hasn’t lied—sheeesh
No one planned for Jeb to be sidelined, but Trump did it anyway.
So Jeb dropped out.
Since he has suspended his campaign, they needed an insider to be a place holder for the delegates and that turns out to be Cruz, who will control those delegates until the Convention, then, after a few slight of hand tricks, they are slated to go back to Jeb, or maybe Mitt.
Cruz will never get to enjoy the delegates at the convention.
This country is not a democracy, it’s a REPUBLIC. States are free to make their own rules. It was run like this 4 years ago. can always be changed, but not after the game has started. poor Donny.
There were no Republican primaries or caucuses in Colorado this year...
It is a political party nominating process...no elections, caucuses or anything else required...(would be nice, but not required). Read & follow the rules, or vote to oust the party leadership. (Or form/join another party).
Background info. on the rules changes in the RNC & CO GOP national convention nominating process starting over 2 years ago:

Interestingly, Romney did not clinch until May 29, 2012. And there was a lower bar of delegates needed, 1144.
Joe Arpaio ...no need to say any more than that
I see your absurd remark has been properly ~ and appropriately ~ replied to.
Of course not. The people here claiming to have participated in them are all lying.
I’m sorry, I just committed a Proverbs 26:4 violation. It will not be repeated.
