But when Mr. Trump (and his Trumpettes) default to 3rd grade “cheating” as the explaination for his failure to harvest delegates under current GOP primary rules, people aren’t using their brains. It’s a cult of personality similar to Hope n Change. Their guy can do no wrong, and anyone who states facts is somehow evil, lyin’, odd looking, stupid, or all of the above.

I agree. (Not about your childish Trumpette insults.)
But, we’ve just never faced the reality before that the Republican Party is really no less of a banana republic junta than the Democrats are. We always believed that “our” party was better than that because “our” views aligned with “their” views and they never had to decide that our views were irrelevant.
So, people are a little angry at the party and at themselves for believing in this thing called the GOP and in the politicians who cleverly promise to be consistently conservative while they are actually just lying politicians. We expect the Democrats to be like that, but we really did not expect “our” politicians to be like that.
There will be a period of adjustment where people mistakenly call it cheating, but we are getting used to the idea that they’ve been lying Progressives all along. Even Senator “Face o’God”
