Only in the mind of the Trumpet...
In the real world, Cruz won the CO primary nomination process fair and square, by the rules, and Donald J. Trump lost it by being the poor leader of a very dysfunctional campaign.

If I were a trumper, I would be embarrassed at how unprepared and disorganized the Trump campaign was in Colorado.
If I were a trumper, I would be afraid of how this would reflect on how dysfunctional and disorganized a president he would be.
If I were a trumper, I would stop whining about Ted Cruz and look to my own guy.
In the real world, the government bailed out the financial institutions that brought the world to the brink of financial collapse through over-leveraging and derivatives. All legal. People were upset about that one too.
You and Cruz can giggle about how clever he is to outsmart Trump, but meanwhile with his cleverness Cruz is convincing more and more Trump supporters to shun Cruz in the general election. If people think they've been swindled, you're not going to convince them by telling them it's okay just because it was all done by the rules. In fact, that is likely to just make them madder.
But go ahead and chuckle about how clever Cruz is and how dumb Trump is. I'm sure it will make for some fond memories for you to reminisce about while you're watching Cruz lose in Florida, Ohio, and Virginia on election night.

I wonder if the people who never got to vote in Colorado feel that way? I wonder if GOP voters who didn’t get to vote in the primaries might be less than enthusiastic to vote in the general.
