Out of more than 70 people vying for delegate slots [at the Washington State 5th Legislative District GOP caucus], only about a half dozen or so are for Trump.
[snip]
And by the end of the balloting, Cruz supporters have taken every single delegate spot. Forty-one of them are heading to the state convention. Not one Trump supporter made it through.

All it proves is you sort of have to be an unprincipled scumbag to make it in politics. Here we have a candidate that has some sort of chance to rip the heart of it and we wind up cheering on the man with the smarts to crook the system and we call it good.
God help us.
Here is some free education for you. If you Cruisers continue with this farce of an election and I guarantee you will not only lose to Hillary you will lose the Senate as well. Then the country is doomed to be some third world cesspool that I guess you want. Very patriotic.
This race is not between Trump and Cruz, it is us against the UniParty choose accordingly.
From what I gathered, were a delegate to abstain, this would also lower the vote count required for majority (50%+1) as if that state had one less delegate.
He actually thought the primary process would be run with integrity.
“Washington ... its how politics is done ”
You better believe it. Just ask Dino Rossi. The state is tailor made for just the kind old school corrupt politics camp Cruz plays.
More importantly it’s another state that is completely irrelevant in the general which Cruz has proven to be good at winning.
you have to read ALL of someone’s post before you comment on it
That was exactly my point, thank you for repeating it
If on the outside chance Trump fails, the GOPEs will quickly return to business-as-usual. They will arrange the nomination of a typical GOPE/RINO (Ryan, Romney, Kasich, Bush, whomever -- it doesn't really matter) thus preserving their privileged way of political life -- their power ... their status -- as it makes little difference to the GOPEs whether the Republican RINO wins or whether whichever socialist the Democrats nominate wins.
Thanks for the explanation. So it sounds like all the candidates running should get at least some delegates (except maybe Kasich) of the 44 available. I’m surprised we don’t hear more about the WA primary - I guess because it’s still a ways off.
Thanks for the explanation - it’s appreciated.
Curious, how is working within the rules cheating and stealing?
