Give me a break, we all know the Holocaust was horrible.
That doesn’t mean every kid who got drafted and sent to serve at Auschwitz was responsible. At this point, they’re just hounding people to justify their own salaries.

I understand the suffering as well as anyone who didn't actually experience it can.
Prosecuting some 90 year old ex private who was assigned a job at the camp helps ease the suffering?

That's because you didn't suffer. Read Martin Gilbert's Holocaust so you can understand.Haven't read that book yet. However, I twice visited DAchau and Flossenburg concentration camps. Dachau is the most sobering place I ever visited. You could feel a sense of dread from the evil that was perpetrated there.
