What did Cruz accomplish when he called out McConnell? What did he accomplish with his filibuster?
I’ve spoken to not-so-politically-minded people about Cruz, and they all remember him as that guy who read “Green Eggs and Ham” on the Senate floor—and they weren’t impressed. But he got on the news, so there’s that, I guess.
Cruz calling out McConnell like he did was beyond foolish for a junior Senator. He managed to completely isolate himself. Not even his friends like Rand Paul could come to his side without risking their own retribution.
You can complain about the GOPe, but what’s the point? The frog and the scorpion. They are who they are; it’s in their nature. I’m sure it felt good to call out McConnell liked that, even a part of me was glad he did it, but the fact is McConnell is the Senate Majority Leader and holds great power in the Senate as a result. He’s still the Senate Majority Leader, and he has several years to go on his current term so his seat likely won’t change hands. The only result was Cruz is a nobody in the Senate now. That’s not smart to put yourself in that position if you’re looking to actually implement some kind of change.
And I didn’t vote for McConnell is any election, so it sure as hell isn’t my fault either.
making that statement before the NY primary was like drinking down stream from the herd
So how long have you been smoking crack?
Trump is the one who defined NY values - not Cruz. Enough with the lies already.
Brooklyn, New York April 7, 2016 U.S. Senator and Presidential candidate Ted Cruz joined dozens of Jewish children today preparing for the Jewish holiday of Passover. The event took place at the Chabad Neshama Model Matzah Bakery this afternoon. After the matzah making party, Cruz then visited the Jewish Center of Brighton Beach where he wished dozens of New York rabbis and their families a happy and festive Passover.
Additionally....
...Cruz picked up an endorsement from New Yorker's for Constitutional Freedoms representing New Yorks evangelical Christians.
.........There is no mystery about what voters can expect from a Cruz presidency. During his Senate tenure, Sen. Cruz has developed a reputation as a consistent, full-spectrum conservative, earning 100% ratings from the American Conservative Union and the National Right to Life Committee. Sen. Cruz has taken firm, public stands in opposition to Planned Parenthood, the Common Core Standards, and President Obamas disastrous Iran deal. Sen. Cruz is a champion of religious freedom. Regarding immigration, Sen. Cruz has sponsored the Establishing Mandatory Minimums for Illegal Reentry Act (also known as Kates Law), as well as a variety of bills geared toward protecting the nation from terrorism. In recognition of the Senators conservative leadership, the Club for Growth, Gun Owners of America, and the National Organization for Marriage have endorsed Sen. Cruz for President. With Sen. Cruz, voters need not wonder if his principles will change next week, next month, or next year.
NYCFPAC firmly believes that Sen. Cruz has the courage, the talent, and the determination to be a transformational leader in Washington. We are pleased to endorse him for the Republican nomination for President of the United States.
I’ll repeat, you Cruz fanatics are delusional.
You can’t nuance reality!

Perhaps he did not succeed because while he was standing up for us Donald Trump was financing Mitch McConnell in his efforts to undermine all those who would support Ted Cruz in upcoming Senatorial elections.
Ted Cruz fought for you and Donald Cruz financed your enemies.
So how long have you been smoking crack?
LOL...that’s for the cRuzite’s. It’s the only explanation for how/why they can support an establishment wolf in conservative (but ill fitting) clothing.
Have you come out of your stupor long enough to check on whether or not cRuz has questioned CA’s values?
Trump is the one who defined those values.
I hear you. If things continue in the direction they are, I am leaving the top two boxes unchecked at the ballot box.
If ya think Lying Ted is going to win NY, I’d like to place a bet with you.
So, just like the evangelicals in Iowa, Cruz is pandering to the Jews in New York. Heard Levin extolling the virtues of a bill Cruz introduced today to return art stolen by the Nazis in WWII (like there aren’t already provisions for that). Pander, Pander, Pander.
Put the pipe down for a while and read up on NYC/NY/American history....

Kyle Kohli confirmed on Wednesday that Trump will not attend the Colorado Republican Convention in Colorado Springs. Further Authorities told Denver7 political reporter Marshall Zelinger that the Republican front-runner won't be in Colorado for ANY events ....
Cruz will speak at the Colorado Springs event on Saturday. and already has six of Colorado's delegates They were decided at conventions last weekend. Nineteen are needed to claim Colorado.
Checkmate!!!!! Go Cruz Go!!!!!..Game is definitely in the 'ON' mode!!!
You can’t have a rational debate with fanatics, like you, that are so delusional.
After New York, there will NOT be enough delegates left for Cruz to get the nomination outright. Do you not understand this????
The only way for him to even have a slight chance, is for deceptive campaigning and sleazy tactics by him and the GOPe (I seriously doubt the GOPe would continue to support him once his useful idiocy has been used up).
It’s really not hard to grasp but like I said, you can’t have a rational debate with fanatics that are so delusional.

Cruz is pretty relaxed as he knows and understands the game....fully...unlike another who has to hire someone to do the job for him because he doesn't know or understand the board he's playing on... ....
Cruz nailed it, Trump is a RINO with the full throated support of all the RINOs in New York and the northeast. Defeating RINOs is the goal of real conservatives, not blowhard populists.
