I respectfully disagree with you. I have read some articles by very qualified legal people who say that Cruz is not eligible. I agree with them. I do not care if any of the made up examples you give qualify. I think Cruz does not. Cruz really was born in Canada to a Cuban father who fought for the commies and Cruz really remained a natural born Canadian citizen (that is the wording used by the Canadian Citizenship Act of 1946) until he was 44 years old and after he was a US Senator. It is not like some country just decided to make him a citizen for the hell of it. I am annoyed that Cruz lied to people like me in 2012 by not revealing he was a Canadian citizen at the time. I would not have voted for him if I had known that little factoid he conveniently neglected to mention. I look forward to voting against Calgary Cruz in 2018.
Funny how none of those legal experts are willing to bring a case to actual court.
Until they do and a judge rules, Cruz is a NBC.
