Yeah, I'm supporting Cruz but this is kind of funny. He made that crack, and pretty much deserves the grief he's getting over it from New Yorkers.

I don't get why he just doesn't admit it, and have some fun with it. "Well, I opened my big mouth, said something stupid, and now you're blasting me for it. Okay, I deserve it. It wouldn't be New York if the boo birds didn't come out and boo a dumb move."

Playing it straight won't do him any good. He should be using it as some humor to loosen things up. Guess he's not that kind of guy.

I don't disagree with you about that rather I would argue that what he said was true, New York values are not America's values. And tables always turn. I must say I am looking forward to the pubbie convention. It's going to be a good time. The first contested pubbie convention since 1976 as I recall. Really looking forward to it.
