We do not know that Trump is not a conservative.
Trump says he converted to conservatism. His actions since 2011 support that.
In reality, his and Cruz’s policies/positionsf are really close to each other.
But Cruz has held conservative positions all his life.
Trump has held them (off and on) for a few years.
