No, I'm sorry but that is not true. Cruz was only +4 to +5 in the RCP averages. BFAC was even trying to sell some BS poll that claimed Trump was ahead the night before the election.
It's the poll vs. votes differential the big donors and delegates watch, and like Iowa, Trump has again very seriously underperformed.
Such consistent differential under-performance means that in the General, even if he was up 5% in the polls, he would lose to the Dem... and that's all that counts. These primaries are the Saturday night at the Final Four. Monday night was the General.... and who even cares that NC was second. Don't get angry with me. I'm just reporting the facts.
