Born in late 1963, I never considered myself a Boomer. At one time a term called Tweeners came out for those in between Boomers and Xers, but Generation Jones is another term.
I do remember having “Preppies” in school...sort of a cross between the yuppies of the Boomers, and the self-absorbed of the Xers :-|
Yep - there are a lot of offshoots and sub-sets in all the so called generations.
For every “SNOWFLAKE” today there are many more normal people - military volunteers, doctors, engineers, hunters, farmers, tradesmen, etc.
So a label for a generation spanning 20 or 25 years can only be a general term about one of the more notable characteristics of a group in that era.
After all - there is a new generation born every day.
