Americas privileged students at elite colleges and universities continue to be traumatized by speech they find hurtful and threatening. Last November at Yale it was a faculty email suggesting that students should lighten up on policing Halloween costumes for racial insensitivity. At the University of Missouri, some students were offended by the administrations failure to investigate and punish alleged racial slurs. A Harvard student recently told FOX News Meghan Kelly that displaying the American flag in a dorm room or just being in the same class with a pro-life student is hurtful and insensitive.

Born in late 1963, I never considered myself a Boomer. At one time a term called Tweeners came out for those in between Boomers and Xers, but Generation Jones is another term.
I do remember having “Preppies” in school...sort of a cross between the yuppies of the Boomers, and the self-absorbed of the Xers :-|
Yep - there are a lot of offshoots and sub-sets in all the so called generations.
For every “SNOWFLAKE” today there are many more normal people - military volunteers, doctors, engineers, hunters, farmers, tradesmen, etc.
So a label for a generation spanning 20 or 25 years can only be a general term about one of the more notable characteristics of a group in that era.
After all - there is a new generation born every day.
