R. Priebus could make history as only the second RNC chair to endorse a popular Democrat. John J. Raskob already did that in either 1924 or 1928.
If the GOPe foists Ryan or another insider pick on us, I will stay home. I won’t vote for Hillary, but I won’t vote for Ryan either. If we’re going to have a civil war, let’s have it sooner, rather than later.
“Their” delegates are actually loyal to the GOPe.
One wonders, what did the Speakers wife say?
Then one wonders on a cold and blustery DC night, who warmed the speaker’s bed?

How do you know this? I keep hearing Cruz is doing great at wining loyal delegates. Trump not so much.
Very nice. I just have one question.
Who you gonna get to vote for him?
lol
Here’s the deal.
Most folks think they are Republican because they register or vote that way and partake a few minutes at a time a few times a decade. Meanwhile, even in the smallest locales, are Republicans who devote hours each non-election year, and even part of the home, and even pay small bills for the Republican Party so it can be on the ballot in every election.
Those who don’t know what a caucus is (even though every state has them), those who don’t know who or how your state’s RNC members are selected, and who don’t financially support the party locally, simply do not deserve the same consideration as those who have taken an active part over time.

Two doctors and an HMO accountant are arguing about a patient with a large, metastatic tumor.
The conservative doctor says, “We must remove the tumor and its tendrils, to save the patient’s life.”
The Democrat doctor says, “No, we must encourage the tumor to grow as big as possible, so it will kill the patient, who is not a person we like.”
And the HMO accountant, who is a Republican establishment type, says, “We need to keep the tumor growing slowly, because it will make me and my friends wealthy, all paid for by the patient, until he dies.”
Good point. And right now Cruz is working closely with those types of people who will be delegates. I suspect many will vote for Cruz in a contested convention. Lets face it, Trump’s support is coming from outside the typical RNC networks. What’s the likelihood that his supporters will be delegates? Not very much. What’s the odds that Cruz will have delegates that voted for him but are bound to vote for someone else in the first round, but then after that they are free to vote for who they want to vote for?
Every round I think Cruz gets more and more votes as state laws allow the delegates to vote as they wish.
Cruz path to victory is to stop Trump from getting 1237—which most likely happened yesterday. Now he needs to make sure Trump doesn’t’ pick up some unbound delegates to make up his shortfall. If Trump is only 30 delegates short he could pull off a victory in the first round. But after that it’s Cruz.
