I hope by now they have a protest area cordoned off. That’s how Philly handled the R convention years ago. But that was before the 0bama years.....
Here’s more info on the rally on LI tonight. Looks like 18,000 tickets have been requested. One of the FReepers that lives in NY says that the LI Expressway is going to be a mess, so leave early if planning to attend:
