Trump still came in 2nd, and held Cruz under 50 percent. Cruz had all the advantages, the state republican party was all in for him, he had Ryan’s machine, the Prebis machine, the Walker machine, talk radio has been pounding Trump from the start, plus millions of dollars poured into anti-Trump ads for the last few weeks. If Cruz or Kasich had been on the receiving end of a all out offensive like that, they would have been in the low single digits.
Trump actually won more counties, but Cruz won the major population centers where there is more corruption, and more likelihood of voter fraud, much like most democrat victories.
Good analysis at #317.
