Yes, that’s the thing. That’s why I’m thinking of seeing what the antique place will give me (though I know it will probably be less than what I could get, but little of my time, labor, and various costs involved).

I’ve done research and made an Excel spreadsheet of what I have (I’ve found jewelry boxes for most and it’s a heavy box ful). If she goes too low, I may do a garage sale with just jewelry and potentially Hallmark ornaments (I have a lot of those to sell) and advertise the sale on craigslist.

Sounds like you’ve done your homework. If you do end up advertising a garage sale, make sure you specify it’s costume jewelry, or you might end up with some un-welcome, un-scheduled visitors.

Would love to see a pic if you have one.
