Ok, totally random, non-political commentary.
Had my local talk radio show on this morning; topic of discussion was one of our state representatives being accused of sexual harrassment (no legal charges). The next phone call, the caller brought up the recent announcement of Tyler Summitt resigning his coaching position @ Louisiana Tech due to an inappropriate relationship with a player. The caller seemed to be fixated on the fact that the player was an adult, the coach was an adult, so what was the issue? The show host kept explaining that the issue was authority, not that one was adult and the other was a minor.
Caller finally said ‘she transferred to his school! She was stalking him! A woman can accuse a man of anything she wants and gets away with it!’ Talk show host tried to calmly explain to the dude that Summitt confessed but he was having none of it. I’m thinking the caller has women issues.
NOTE: I’m not saying that there aren’t women out there screwing men over; just saying they all aren’t.
The first thing that popped into my mind was the Duke case (when you mentioned women screwing men over). I agree - women sometimes screw men over in various ways, but we’re not all like that and some women do actually have legitimate problems with men.
Perhaps off on a bit of a tangent here - I’m so sick of all this “war on women” (not to mention war on blacks, BLM, need my safe space, etc.). People need to put on their big girl panites or big boy briefs and deal with it - it’s not always all about them (the poor little snowflakes). You’re not “all that”. Get your butts out and work and quit blaming everyone else for everything under the sun - maybe you need to look internally (SoL - not talking to/don’t mean you).
