Thank you for sharing Dolly, your post really touched me. I remember Ray as one of the brightest posters on Free Republic and I still miss his insights. When he became ill, I sent him a post expressing my concern and prayers. He replied that he was in God’s hands and was ready for whatever came next. Thank God he had you in his life. I pray that he has found peace.
Thanks for sharing that nick... I talked to him the day before he died and he was at peace with God. One might never know it but he did have a strong Christian walk and our last conversations he was crying and oh so repentant for all he had done. He was talking to me but he was also talking to God. His salvation was important to him. He realized that much of what he expressed to others was wrong in God’s eyes.
