Well, that is true, and it is equally true of Cruz. Where is Cruz going to get the votes outside his base of evangelical conservatives...which, to be generous, very, very generous, might amount to 20% of the electorate (and they are a cohort of the electorate that is actively despised my much of the rest of the electorate)?

Your organizing principle right now is quite obviously hate for Trump. When you succeed in keeping Trump from getting 1237 then the whole reason for being will be gone and so will the GOPe’s support for Cruz.
