“However the Cruz supporters are constitutional conservatives and the Trump supports are supporters of burn the system down and start over again. These two positions are not the same, but they are not irreconcilable. I keep waiting for the two sides to see that together they are stronger, and can win in November.”

Good post! I’m a strong Cruz supporter, and I’ve wondered if I could vote for Trump. But then I see the picture of the (IMHO) demon possessed Hillary witch, and think about who trump would, at least, appoint to various departments, etc....and I know I’ve vote against the she-witch even if Jeb ended up being the nominee.

Sorry to ruin the day of purists, but I’d vote for Jeb or Trump over Hillary! But I hope to vote for CRUZ!

Well, Mr Rogers, I agree with you. I too will vote for Trump is he is the nominee, even though I have my doubts. However, when it comes to Hillary, there is no doubt.

In my mind Cruz is the nearest to Reagan; but he is, admittedly, without the winning personality and the hard won experience of having been a Demo and having seen that the D party left him. It is too bad. But he is the best of a flawed group of candidates.

It Trump and Cruz could somehow come together, each supplying what the other does not have, that would be the best we could realistically do at this point.
