He can lose it and then steal Cruz’s delegates. Isn’t that how it works now?

My wife always says: “Don’t count your chickens...”
But, even as a Trumpeteer, I think DJT will probably lose by around 5%.
But I will say this for certain, and you can bank on it: It will either be higher than 5%, exactly 5% or lower than 5%. Count on it!

The 24 hour, wall-to-wall NeverTrump media, that’s why.

Stone added that while he thinks Trump will lose Wisconsin, he can still win a majority of delegates in the 16 upcoming primaries.
I don’t think there’s any doubt that Trump will win a MAJORITY of the delegates. But a majority is not enough.

Manafort can also steal back delegates picked up by Cruz using arcane state rules.
Manafort is a master at this stuff.

My guess is Trump wins one CD and three delegates. Cruz is cruising for a victory.

Again, if Trump loses Wisconsin, worst case he only gets 2 districts and walks away with 6 delegates... 2 weeks later he goes into NY and trounces Cruz who at best will get a handful or two of New Yorks 95 delegates.. Trump stays way above the 55% he needs to hit 1237 and a week later on 4/26 Cruz is mathematically eliminated from being able to win the nomination. Trump will continue on to 1237.
Now, to play complete devils advocate, if this thing winds up contested, Neither Cruz, or Trump or Kasich wind up the nominee and we get some GOPe picked nominee.
Cruz and his supporters are fighting a war of the lost cause at this point.

Whining about rules that were in place long before Trump smacks of sore loser. These were the rules when he entered the game. Alpha Male needs to man up.
To: VerySadAmerican
If I understand it correctly, the delegates needed are 1/2 the total plus one (i.e. 2472/2 = 1236 + 1 = 1237)...so yes it is a majority.
The argument is, will Trump get the nomination if he has only a plurality.

Answer, because the citizen who is not a member of their club got ahead in the election and is a perceived threat to the GOPe status quo.
I don't remember elections before where the party took such massive steps to block the election of their own party's candidate in order to force a brokered convention.
To such an extent they knowingly are giving the Presidency to Hillary.
What they are NOT realizing is that after years of betraying voters, the voters are no longer with them. They just burned their party down to the ground.
The Bushes, Cruz, the so called leadership is shooting the GOPe right in the head dead politically.
I don't see me after decades ever wanting to vote Republican again with the current turds in control of the party shenanigans.

Stone added that while he thinks Trump will lose Wisconsin, he can still win a majority of delegates in the 16 upcoming primaries. There is no doubt about this in my mind. The big problem is all the fraud and corruption coming from the RNC, et al.
