>>>If Cruz wins the popular vote in Wisconsin (not a given) then the delegate margin remains virtually unchanged. The only thing Wisconsin is being used for it to try and diminish Trump so that its more palatable for the establishment to insert Ryan as the nominee....and of course Cruz sold out and is helping to bring this about.<<<
Why is everything a conspiracy? Why can’t it be what Cruz says it is. A simple Trump - Cruz nomination battle in Cleveland? From Cruz’s point of view, why not try? He either wins the nomination or sets himself up for the next election cycle. The republican primaries have a history that rewards prior candidates (Such as Nixon, Reagan, GH Bush, Dole, McCain and Romney). So Cruz has nothing to lose by going all out, even to the extent of a convention fight. Sometimes things are what they say they are imo.
I want to add one thing about Cruz being a spoiler. I seriously don’t think Cruz wants to see Hillary/Bernie appoint the next set of judges. I’m sure he would support Trump 100% no matter what. Anything that is said between now and the nomination is just campaigning.
That would be believable if hadn't brought all the players from the establishment into his campaign. And as soon as he did his message stopped being anti-establishment and became stop Trump. Best case scenario is that the establishments goal to stop Trump and Cruz's ambition are on the same path. But that's not likely. He's taking money and assistance from the establishment players and they're going to get a payoff.
