If what you believed were true Carl Rove, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, Reince Priebus, Lindsay Graham, Mitch McConnell, the Bushes and the rest of the establishment goons would be lining up behind Trump, not Cruz. They are behind Cruz because he can be controlled; they have enough dirt on him to toss him aside any time that he steps out of line. Cruz is their tool; Cruz is their puppet. He will not change anything if he gets the presidency. If he somehow gets it will still vote for him because the Republicans are still much better than the alternative. But we might as well have Carl Rove or Jeb Bush in charge, the result would be the same.
