Look at California with 172 delegates WTA by congressional district and state wide. The biggest prize.
Trump matches what McCain 2008 did in CA over Romney when it was last contested in the primaries. The results:
McCain (42.25%) won CA by 7.7% over Romney. A modest win for McCain percentage wise, however, McCain won 155 delegates with that 7.7% margin.
I’ve got Trump winning 150 delegates by just matching what McCain accomplished in 08. Very doable and Trump winning CA is likely.
