First of all, it isn’t doable. The GOP will not let Cruz win on a second ballot.
And even if he did, what would the point be? Do you think the second place loser is going to pull all the support of the leader by playing politics and dirty tricks? Cruz will go down in history as losing in the biggest landslide ever as Trump supporters walk, and with good reason.
Cruz apologists are insane.
Completely divorced from reality or obvious establishment tools? Those are the only two options for Teddy and the Cruzers.
What "good reason"? Cruz would have won, within the rules, fair and square.
You can't argue that Trump should have won with a plurality. You can't argue that Cruz cheated. You have to accept that Trump got out-organized and, ironically, out-dealt.
And, if it comes down to Cruz vs Trump, how does the Establishment win anything?

That will be the logic used to push a fresh face (like Ryan) as the nominee.
Uniter. That will be the code word. We need someone that will unite the party; someone people can unite behind; a uniter.
If you listen, you can already hear the GOP throwing that out also.
Cruz will be the veep behind a rino. And most Cruz supporters will vote for them saying “Well, in 8 years he’ll be president.”
But they won’t get any democrat voters and they won’t get Trump voters so they’ll go down like Romney. Which is what they want.
