This crop of "constitutional conservatives" are really just left wing ideologues turned inside out. They are anointed ones who guard the only truth. They're demi-god has been shown to be a terracotta idol with an itchy crotch. Of course they're full of hatred.

The Constitution is the framework that can bring us back to exception alien, if followed.
Flawed candidates, which they all are, can use this as a guidepost, without some irrational worship of the proponents thereof.
