The longer it lingers the more foolish republicans and Christians appear. One sentence from Cruz “I have never cheated on my wife” could have stopped the speculation. It is the John Edwards/Bill Clinton type refutations that feed this.
If you look at the real world and not the internet scumbag sites, you would see that no one believes in this and no one cares about guys peddling this stuff.
One example, Brett Baer from Fox News stated, “We looked into this, and there just isn’t anything there. There is no evidence.” Maybe you guys ought to try the fake phone records again, or better yet, tell people that Cruz is one of the Lizard People who are trying to take over government. Would be just about as true.
One thing Trump has shown us in a good way is that the personal lives of our candidates will always let us down and thus shouldn’t matter. The question is will they advance what this country needs? Ie protect my freedoms and US culture.
In the case of Cruz, the answer for me is clearly yes. So if he’s banging Amanda Carpenter, I don’t care anymore. Might even help his street cred with certain voters.
