Ok look at this:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/republican_vote_count.html

IT says Cruz has roughly 5.7 million total votes to Trump with 7.8 million. CLinton has 8.9 million and Sanders 6.3 million.

Total votes for Clinton and Sanders is 15 million

Total votes for Trump, Cruz, Rubio and Kasich is around 20 million

Trump vs Cruz & Kasich 7.8 mil vs 8.5 mil

Cruz vs Trump & Kasich 5.7 mil vs 10.5 mil

I think the scary thing is how many votes the Democrats have out there. I think in many ways, people are voting agains Hillary.

Also, to have this many voter for the Republicans must mean that there are a lot of cross over voters out there for Trump.

Wisconsin I think is an open primary.

Excellent analysis Nikos, and thanks for all that you have done with such a positive approach.
If they allowed Trump to really run and supported him, we could win with a landslide.

I travel a lot and have discussed Trump with people from all walks of life and places. Security and safety concerns are huge and if you don’t have that, you have nothing. No one else has had the nerve and fortitude to call the spade a spade like Trump has done. Who cares about all the other issues including our conservative hot button topics if you live in fear of terrorists multiplying in our country. All the stuff we chatter about on this forum is completely insignificant if you are no longer safe. Al of those issues are secondary to our basic right to live in a free and safe society.

Among women, Trump gets overwhelming praise from those I know from CA, FL, GA, NC, SC, VA, AZ, MA, & NY. He will get the bulk of Independent voters in every state. And who cares if they voted for BHO. They likely voted for Bush, Clinton, and Reagan as well. Those voters are not ideological, and they never will vote a party line. We should be thrilled to count their vote.

Most the folks I talk to either are unfamiliar with Cruz, hate is connection to Bush, or they find the pious persona repulsive. His endorsements from Falwell and Schlafley meant a great deal in Christian communities in the South. Go Trump!

Those 6+ million Bernie voters are sure fire votes against Hillary
She's only had to run against one opponent whereas Trump has had to run against 17 at the beginning, then about 6 in FL including a FL Senator, and now 2 backed by his own party as a strategy to defeat him
Nothing like what Hillary has experienced

Bernie is poised to win big in a few more big races! He will get millions more votes.. He is going to win Wisconsin
But Hillary will get the delegates and the nomination
Did Bernie have to,sign a “ loyalty pledge”?
Somehow I see a revolt splitting the democrat party over their nomination because Bernie supporters have more passion for their candidate
I just can't see any GOP figure except trump being able to appeal as the alternative to Hillary
