We told you recently about how Donald Trump has abandoned his pledge to the GOP that he will support the nominee no matter who it was.
He claims that the GOP wasnt fair to him and therefore that justifies him going back on his promise.
It has already been determined that his change of heart could hurt him in the delegate race which promises to be extremely tight as it is.
But now, GOP Chair Reince Priebus has come out and basically dared Trump to back down from the promise.
From Hot Air:
Ive got the same problem here as I did in the post yesterday about Trump possibly forfeiting his delegates in South Carolina. Namely, what would constitute formal and final repudiation of the pledge sufficient to trigger penalties? If Trump says Im done with the pledge on Monday and then on Tuesday says something squishy like I suppose I could support Ted as nominee but itd be tough, does that qualify as breaking the pledge? Neither he nor Cruz are going to sign something affirming that theyre going back on their word, so youll have to tease out their intentions from scattershot verbal statements.
Were going into potentially we dont know for sure but potentially an open convention. So the candidates, I think, are going to posture a little bit as far as what they are willing to do and who theyre willing to support and who theyre not, [Reince Priebus] told Fox News Greta Van Susteren

Let it die
Why hasn’t Preibus reigned in on these Republican office holders who have publicly disparaged the frontrunner and made it clear they will not support him?
Ben Sasse comes to mind and Lindsey Graham.
This would never happen in the Democrat party—such statements would result in no financial support for any election.
“Help” from the RNC? “Help” is what the call what they’re doing? Where do we sign to get rid of all the “Help” they’re giving Trump?
You lie!
Has the RNC ever helped Trump? For the life of me, I can’t think of an instance.
They also lied on their end.
Zot the RNC.

Wow, with the kind of “help” the RNC/GOPe has been giving to our candidates, I’d say abandoning them first is the correct course of action.
Well it appears that all three candidates are breaking the pledge so I guess Rinse and Repeat will use that to usher in Paul Ryan or Jeb Bush.
Didn’t Trump meet with priebus yesterday? I take it that meeting didn’t go well.
wewillwalk.org. and their Facebook page We Will Walk. Worth checking out. Power in numbers!!
Oh, and they have helped Trump? Morons!
Who looks to his enemy for help? And the GOPe doesn’t care whether Republicans win or lose in 2016. No one has ever seen anything like this before.
What help are they getting now?
What help has Trump gotten from the RNC?
No more holding my nose! If Trump is snookered out of the convention, I will write him in and ignore the rest of the candidates!
I didn’t leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party left me.
