We seem to have a real difference of opinion here.
In the interest of fairness, all Diplomas must be issued by the government without mention of the name of the university attended. All records must be sealed along with all transcripts and proof of attendance. The children can then all be the offspring of Obama and demand fair treatment.
Just a down payment for future favors if she becomes prez. Anyone who thinks they paid the Clintons this kind of change for the joy of listening to their words, written by someone else, is a moron.
No kidding...over half of our local property tax dollars (Coppell ISD) are sent elsewhere in the state. I've paid several thousand dollars in "activity fees" for the 3 kids I've sent through CISD. #3 enters HS next year, and will be involved in football, cross country, and band. Cha-ching! There goes another $500, just for "activity fees".
IIRC, Highland Park ISD loses nearly 75% of their tax money to Robin Hood.
I'm sure it's 50% or more for every ISD north of I-635, i.e. Plano, Richardson, Frisco, The Colony, Lewisville, McKinney, etc.
That’s why I marvel when people think that Texas is some bastion of Conservatism.
We can still hold out hope. Matt Rinaldi beat Bennett Ratliff (son of Bill) for state rep by a much larger margin than last time. Get a few more conservatives in the state house, come up with a better school funding formula.
Nah, Texas is far from perfect, but it's far better than other places I've lived.
"All students in Chicago"?
MOST students in Chicago are too stupid to graduate from high school (a real one), never mind go to the University of Chicago!
Harvard - $36.4 billion
Yale - $23.8 billion
Stanford - $21.4 billion
Princeton - $20.5 billion
Confiscate it all, and you can keep the Federal Government running for about 75 days.
