.. I'm especially disappointed in the behavior of those devout followers of both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz ..

LOL.

That's Megyn-grade pretentiousness.

“I’m especially disappointed in the behavior of those devout followers of both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. “

We’re especially disappointed in the behavior of Fox News.

Politics has always been a contact sport. But after 30 odd years of talk radio (both sides), 24/7 cable news that has focused on zingers (the bolder the better) and fueling the worst fears and anger in us instead of the top stories plus books, newspaper articles and news letters doing the same. And now they wonder why the culture is coarse even amongst ourselves.

The very same Todd Starnes who has written anti-Trump pieces, looking down from his snow white ivory tower on us rubes for wanting to root for the GOP front runner. How dare we! How dare we want our laws followed! How dare we want illegal invaders deported! How dare we not bow to Political Correctness fascism!

Todd Starnes

I am sure your boy Ted would agree with you Todd.

The same Ted Cruz who has accused (falsely) Trump and his supporters of causing violence at their own rallies, and of attacking reporters (false).

Ted agrees with Todd so much that he will volunteer to murder Trump by running over him with his car.

I don’t want to attack Starnes too vigorously because he is a good guy most of the time. However, I hear him on Christian radio as well as on Fox News. At least on Christian radio, he is one of the primary merchants of bile with respect to the Republican primary. He is transparently pro-Cruz which is his privilege; however, he routinely impugns the Christian character and conservative impulses of those who disagree with him.

I always hate it when a bully asks for peace when he starts to lose the fight. It is not only a bully’s tactic, it is straight out of the liberal playbook.

Is Fox News shilling for Kasich now? Or as their patron Karl Rove said, “a fresh face”, none of the remaining 3 candidates?

Every politician has annoying followers. It’s part of life. That doesn’t make Ted Cruz any less of a globalist GOPe stooge.

Also, Ted Cruz supporters in particular seem to take criticism of their candidate very personally. Hundreds of threads now on FR I have commented about Cruz and only Cruz, and gotten responses attacking me personally. It doesn’t really surprise me, since Cruz sells himself by mailing out shame letters. His campaign has always been about labeling people who don’t support him as blasphemous heathens.
