If abortion was illegal it would be so because it ends human life. If human life is ended by the will of any person shouldn’t there be a consequence for any person involved in ending that human life? Isn’t this logical? Isn’t Conservatism supposed to be logical?
We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights that among these are LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of liberty.
Again,no consequence for those that begin the process of denying human life?
You ask sensible questions. However, in the case of abortion since it is legal there is no consequence to the atrocity. Pro-lifers have fought this evil - masquerading as a right - for many years since it was made legal. We have learned who the real culprits are and they are the doctors and the sex educators who have provided the atmosphere that overwhelmingly convinces women that it is the best option.
Carol Everett told me that abortion clinics spend a considerable amount of time training their personnel on how to get women to come into their clinics.
A woman will call a clinic and ask how much their abortions are and the clinic staff person will not answer that question but ask the woman instead when she had her last period. The staffer will figure out the due date from a calendar and then will tell the woman what her due date is. This date solidifies in her mind that she is pregnant. Her worst fear is confirmed. Or so she thinks. This is a clever psychological trick played on her by the abortion staffer.
What this trick does is to make sure that she will not call another clinic, and she dutifully goes into that clinic. They successfully tested her sense of loyalty and have taken advantage of her emotional state - all for the money.
My point in discussing this is that clever manipulative tricks are played on women when they are least able to defend themselves. It is not right for us to blame her for that manipulation.
Instead of blaming the woman we should go after the abortion culture that has caused the problem to fester.
