Well if he listened to the people who helped elect him, he would not have supported Mitch McConnell’s last senate run...imo.
The tea party was instrumental in helping Rand Paul elected...then when he was thinking about running for president, he figured he needed Mitch on his side so he endorsed Mitch.
And oh yes...someone else have money to Mitch and Boehner for them to use against Tea Party candidates.....Donald J. Trump!!!!

And as Theo pointed out the vote in KY was close...imo without Rubio and Kasich, Cruz would have won KY.
