I think you’re correct because of the widely used term “assault and battery”.
However, here’s a definition of the word:
Law. an unlawful physical attack upon another; an attempt or offer to do violence to another, with or without battery, as by holding a stone or club in a threatening manner.
So I guess “physical attack” and “do violence” don’t necessarily mean “doing harm”.
To most people I believe “assault” does include doing harm.
There are milder terms such as “approach” and “accost”.
There are many sources for this. Her own words.

Yeah, this is one place where “legal definitions” and “common sense” don’t necessarily coincide.
If I’m on a jury this takes about one minute to get the votes tallied from the other jurors for a not guilty verdict. The prosecutor has to be a pure idiot to take this into a court room.

I heard a local talk radio personality ask this question and preface it with an up front apology and it took all of one minute for the sexist card to get thrown on him and he back peddled like a big wuss bag from it to kowtow to the new fascism known as PC.

Using the BNO News version of the YouTube video, the time marks change out of sequence. For example, starting at the end of 0.02 seconds into the YouTube video and jumping through the video on pause, the video and the time marks in the bottom left side of the video frame change like the following:

You’re looking at player issues. What you’re probably seeing there is the fact that the player stops on key frames. I’m stopping it in youtube and I don’t see the times jumping around.
Download the video, import it into Premier, Final Cut, hell even windows movie maker. It’s not been edited.

Thanks, that’s why I posted and asked what everyone else were seeing. I wanted to find the source of the sequencing problem.
When I’m watching it on one of my clients some of the frames are badly out of time sequence, jumping backwards and forwards in time. Some of the frames seen in other versions are missing in the one I posted. Everyone else reporting so far can’t see this happening, so they think it must be a player issue. That’s why I posted this to see if anyone else was seeing the same peculiar out of sequence video frames I’m seeing.
Out of frame or not, there is something very fishy with it.
I thought they might be replaying part, once it played by the incident.
To me, it’s more confusing than enlightening.
I’m not convinced a judge will accept that as evidence.

I guess Bad Luck just follows Michelle Fields around. She is a true Victim and deserves our sympathy, and not our rude mocking and ridicule [snort]
