Some guy sprays another person in the crowd with pepper spray. Does it really matter what gender or age they are?

Of course not. I’m sorry that my point wasn’t more obvious. The media reported, in story after story, that the girl was 15. She’s actually 19. Apparently Moveon.org told the media that she was 15, because 15 makes her a more sympathetic victim than being 19.

My comment was related to Moveon.org and the media being deceitful in reporting her age. It wasn’t a comment on being any less-offensive act to pepper-spray a 19-yr old vs. a 15-yr old.
