That story says there are rumors that he had affairs with five women. It doesn’t say five different women have come forward accusing him. That’s a huge difference. In fact, unless a woman has come forward today, no woman has accused him and two of the five have denied any affair.
I’m not defending Cruz. If he did it he deserves what he gets. I readily admit he may well have had affairs with five or more women, but that isn’t what the original NE story said. They basically reported the existence of rumors. I believe it is critical to be precise with facts, particularly when a man’s reputation, not to mention marriage, is at stake. If I am in error I want to be corrected myself. I do not want to bear false witness against Cruz or these women.
Thanks for the info and correction. But there has to be some substance to the rumors IMO for the NE to publish them. I mean, didn't they include (fuzzy) pictures of these women? The NE has to be careful, and they're not stupid.
BTW, is there a link to the NE story anywhere? I'd like to read it myself.

I agree. But Cruz's refusal to answer a simple question about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife says it all IMO. Judge Judy wouldn't buy that for a minute.
Anyway, I have to go do other things now. I'll try to catch up on the rest of the posts here later. :)
