True. Now when did it become stupid to answer a hypothetical question honestly? If the average voter in the US is so brainwashed that they can’t see the difference, then we’re lost. Lost, no matter how carefully the message is crafted.

I believe this will get a tremendous amount of play in the media without changing a single vote. Those who are OUTRAGED by this statement weren’t going to vote for Trump even if he hadn’t said it; now were they?

they all vote for Hillary or sanders who support abortion on demand

When you are being labeled a misogynist and are polling poorly among women, it doesn’t appear to be a wise move to antagonize those who are leaning or independents.

Determining punishment would not be within the scope of the presidency anyway. That is left up to the legislature.
Saying you are against abortion is sufficient. To comment on the punishment of women is both irrelevant and detrimental to his campaign.

Perhaps I do not appreciate the “genius” in his comments or the “genius” of appearing with Chris Matthews on MSNBC.
I am sure he will be evaluated fairly.
