No, the problem is that the Lying Ted has no chance of winning the nomination but he stays in the race trashing Trump every day. He is only helping Hillary.

If His Donaldness thought Cruz was at far gone as you do, he could simply ignore him, but he doesn't instead focusing his campaign on bashing Cruz's wife and calling him lying Ted. Trump is either insecure, or seeking to satisfy his ego with supposed vengeance.

To quote Dr. McCoy on Star Trek: You can't keep hacking at a man when he's down. Like Cruz or not. He's got more guts than other Republican in the Senate with the possible exception of Mike Lee. Cruz should be Trump greatest ally in the Senate if nothing else.
