North Korea has once again asserted that it will use its nuclear weapons arsenal against the United States. Unlike previous statements, however, a note from the rogue state’s foreign minister on Monday insisted that North Korea is fully equipped and ready to use a nuclear weapon on the United States, not just willing to do so.

I think you’re right about the Nork regime being on its last-legs. The pace of the political killings withing NK has picked up. Even if he’s getting true opponents of the regime that has got to be demoralizing to the rest of his inner circle. Kim needs to keep them focused on the outside threat.
Up till now I think the unruly Norks have been beneficial to China. Kind of like your neighbor’s yappy pit-poodle. Now that serious threats are being made it will be interesting to see if China takes him out.
And when San Francisco is gone, Obama will vow to punish the perpetrators and Kerry will be deeply concerned. This is why they gave Obama the Peace Prize...he’s a 60’s peacenik in a suit and they knew it. (So did I).
A single EMP weapon, even if NK had one, would not have the power to blanket the US.

I don’t think they have enough kilo-tonnage to create a big emp. IF they fail with that one shot, then its lights out for them.
